KEEP GYMS OPEN CAMPAIGN
-
Stronger together
Body Tech, EmpoweredFit & Grenade headed the national campaign to secure the reopening of gyms throughout lockdown. After amassing 600,00 signatures, countless press interviews and lobbying politicians we were able to overturn the decision to close gyms and return access to 4.5 MILLION gym users across the UK.

ALL HANDS ON DECK
Grenade frontman and England Rugby Star James Haskell headed the famous orange tank to Parliament to generate exposure for the campaign, one of many leading fitness voices that stepped up to fight for national health.
Project KICKSTART
-
SUPPORT
Over the past year, with questionable closures, the UK’s gym and leisure centre communities have had a tough time, blown out by uncertainty and lost revenues.
Despite all this, many around the country have soldiered on, sticking their middle fingers up to adversity and going the extra mile to help their communities to Get Shit Done. Whether that’s supporting their membership communities through online classes, or donating equipment to keep them powering through, these guys are some of the unsung heroes who’ll help get the nation fighting fit, once again.
-
COMMUNITY
Showing their continued support for the industry – and to kick-start the nation’s return to good health – Grenade gave away four EXCLUSIVE Project Kickstart Supply Drop crates* to deserving gyms and leisure centres around the country, who’d gone above and beyond.
Each crate was packed to the brim with care packages for PTs, gym staff and gym-goers, with each package full of award-winning Grenade goodies including Carb Killa and Reload protein bars, Grenade Energy, apparel and sports nutrition products to fuel explosive gym sessions.
it’s coming home!

show of support
7th June 2021 we had the opportunity to support our national team in their admirable journey to the Euro finals, flying high above the sky of the city that holds my heart, the home one of the most successful teams in European football, Liverpool.
What we witnessed in the 2.5 hours we floated above our city was truly a beautiful sight, a testament to the power of national football that extends way beyond the game itself. After over a year of isolation, separation, divides, loss and sorrow, it’s difficult to find the words to express how incredible it felt to see the streets and gardens awash with families, friends, groups of kids, cheers, applauds – a nation united.

a nation united
Thank you, England, for stepping up and providing this country exactly what we needed to remember who we are, for being more than football, more than sport. No matter what happens at the final, our gratitude will hold strong.
Special thanks to Grenade & to Merchants School, Crosby for use of their sports field for take-off and to each and every one of you that shown their support in the streets and across socials, what an absolute honour.
Energy Launch x parkour
April 12th 2021, the re-opening of gyms across the UK and the launch day for Grenade Energy, we had some fun with it!
